Applications
Hyosis is focused on use cases where uptime, serviceability and local control over hydrogen supply matter more than squeezing out a fraction of a percent of efficiency.
Industrial hydrogen replacement

Many industrial sites still rely on trucked-in grey hydrogen for processes such as heat treatment, chemical production, glass and metals processing. For some of these users, on-site green hydrogen production can:

  • Reduce exposure to supply interruptions and logistics
  • Lower lifecycle emissions and support ESG goals
  • Open a path to future electrification and fuel switching

Hyosis is particularly interested in medium-scale users where local operations teams already maintain complex equipment, but where specialist hydrogen engineers are not available full-time.

Remote and mining operations

Remote and mining sites often operate with constrained logistics, high diesel dependence and challenging maintenance conditions. For these environments, a modular electrolyser that:

  • Can be serviced by existing technicians
  • Supports partial operation during maintenance
  • Integrates with site power management

has the potential to reduce fuel use and emissions while improving energy resilience.

Ports and logistics hubs

Ports, terminals and logistics hubs are exploring hydrogen for vehicles, handling equipment and, eventually, vessels. Early-stage deployments will often be small and distributed, with a strong focus on safety, uptime and straightforward operation.

Hyosis aims to make it easier to deploy local hydrogen production that can grow and adapt with demand, rather than committing to a single, rigid asset from day one.

Early pilot opportunities

At this stage, Hyosis is open to exploratory discussions with operators who:

  • Have a clear use case for hydrogen on site
  • Expect to operate in challenging or remote conditions
  • Value high uptime and serviceability

If that describes your site, we’d be happy to explore whether our architecture could be a fit for future pilots.
